Yoga Bonaire BasicsYoga, is a method to achieve complete control of your soul and body.  There are various types of yoga, all with a different accent.  Yoga is perfect for everybody, regardless of gender, age, or religion. It is not a religion.

About your Yoga guide:
Desiree has been living on Bonaire for the past 14 years. Yoga came into her life 12 years ago through books and DVDs. She has been trained by two amazing teachers from the USA. Ashtanga yoga from David Swenson and Power yoga from Beryl Bender Birch.

Through her travels to Europe, USA and Australia she has become very experienced in many different yoga classes and started teaching yoga on Bonaire for the past 7 years.

About her Hatha YOGA class:
This is a gentle class to reduce tension and to learn about breath and body awareness. As you know stress and tension cause the body to tighten up. Which blocks off the energy flow.In yoga, we use the asanas_postures and the breath to learn to open every constricted area of the mind and body. This helps to release tension.As the body relaxes and opens, the mind also becomes calm and quiet.

About her VINYASA YOGA class:
Specially for those who are ready to build on strength by power yoga that makes you sweat. Desiree's inspiring and stimulating guidance will help you go places you could not reach by yourself. Therefore you will feel most recharged and fulfilled after this class.
